Citrus is starting to trickle in from California and Florida.  Look for juicy Satsumas, sweet Clementines and delectable tangerines.  We will also continue to have Navel oranges and Valencias for juicing, as well as grapefruit, lemons and limes.  Keep checking in, as we will expand our selection of citrus varieties as they become available.  Also look for samples to try some new flavors.  And don’t forget the tradition of an orange in the bottom of Christmas stockings!

With all the varieties of apples available it can be hard to know which one to choose.  We have a good selection of your favorites on hand, like Honeycrisp, Braeburn and Galas.   However, if you want to branch out and find a new favorite apple, we have a few new heirloom varieties to try.  Heirloom apples are heritage varieties that are not available for large-scale agriculture.  Because of this difference, heirloom varieties are grown for taste instead of their ability to ship and long life on the shelf.  These varieties have also stood the test of time and remained favorites throughout generations.  Come in and sample our heirloom apple varieties, like Rubinette and Calville Blanc,  and see if you love them as much as we do!

Fall has definitely come, but don’t worry.  Fall means a delicious abundance of apples and pears.  Look for trusted favorites like Gala apples and Bartlett pears. Also keep a look out for exciting new varieties like Cox Orange Pippin and Courtland apples (English heirloom varieties).  For pears, check out Star Krimson and cute Seckel.  Nectarines and peaches are also on their way out, so get them while supplies last.
